Courteney Cox originally auditioned for the role of Rachel Green, but casting directors felt as if she fit the personality of Monica Geller the most, and got it! “Friends”, which first aired in 1994, showcased an ensemble cast made up of Cox, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry, who would, later on, become one of the most well-known casts in television history. With the show not available on Netflix and transcending from generation to generation, let’s see which “Friends” character you are!
$20 million!
“Friends” became the first sitcom on a major network to pay their actors $1 million per episode! While this wasn’t the cast's salary from the get-go, the notorious group secured million-dollar contracts for the final 3 seasons of the show. This was a huge feat for actors on primetime television making seven figures for a single episode. With an average of 22 episodes, the cast was making over $20 million per season, which isn’t too shabby!

Beta vulgaris. That's what chard is. Would you want to eat beta vulgaris? More importantly, would you want to answer quiz questions by a person whose chosen name (chardemagne) is a portmanteau of Charlemagne and Chard? Well, it turns out that vulgaris actually means "common" not "disgusting", in the original Latin. One wonders if chard was the second most common greenery available? But let's talk about Charlemagne instead, because rather than being vulgar or common, Charlemagne was an emperor, a medieval one, and a benevolent one. That's pretty impressive. To control vast swaths of Europe during the dark ages, bringing people together...I'll take that namesake. And my quizzes are just as good. I swear.
