The 1980s saw an array of unique film genres and trends. One Hollywood trend from that era was none other than martial arts and the ancient style of training and fighting. This served as a major genre throughout the decade, and countless films featured actors with real-life martial arts training in their background, as most of them did their own stunts! This is the reason why there is a fantastic collection of karate and kung-fu style '80s films.

Why is my profile picture a carrot? Hint 1: it's about my favorite music. Hint 2: it's about the suffering of the vegetables. Hint 3: the band in question has some pretty foul lyrics sometimes. Hint 4: don't be a tool. The cries of the carrots! Actually, the song is called Disgustipated by the band Tool. In it, Maynard James Keenan's *landlord* is heard discussing the plight of the carrots during Thanksgiving. Clearly, I am obsessed with useless trivia. :)
