Television in the 1980s was without a doubt one of the most prolific eras for TV, so much that many say that the '80s was the Golden Age of television. With his shows such as “Roseanne”, “The Dukes Of Hazard”, “Golden Girls”, and “Miami Vice”, there was a sitcom comedy, drama, or thriller made for just about anyone and everyone. Family shows also began to re-emerge, including many unconventional ones, making '80s TV unlike any other era. So, how much do you remember when it comes to some of your fav '80s show? Let’s find out!
Miami Vice
'80s TV show, ‘Miami Vice’, was far more than just a popular television show, it was an economy starter! After the shows 1984 premiere, there was a massive increase in tourism in Miami, which helped the city’s infrastructure, and led to many improvements of tourist attractions. Countless hotels and restaurants were built, and many people began referring to this ‘Miami Vice’ phenomenon on the city of Miami as “Vice Effect’.

Beta vulgaris. That's what chard is. Would you want to eat beta vulgaris? More importantly, would you want to answer quiz questions by a person whose chosen name (chardemagne) is a portmanteau of Charlemagne and Chard? Well, it turns out that vulgaris actually means "common" not "disgusting", in the original Latin. One wonders if chard was the second most common greenery available? But let's talk about Charlemagne instead, because rather than being vulgar or common, Charlemagne was an emperor, a medieval one, and a benevolent one. That's pretty impressive. To control vast swaths of Europe during the dark ages, bringing people together...I'll take that namesake. And my quizzes are just as good. I swear.
